1. Week 1:

Great Whites of the World. This will be a simple introduction to white wines,

featuring four classic grape varieties from four exciting wine regions

2. Week 2:

Great Reds of the World. The same as the white wine class in week 1 - 4 great red wines

from 4 great areas

3. Week 3:

 Classic Grape Varieties: Chardonnay. We'll taste four different expressions of this wonderful

grape to showcase the variety of styles the Chardonnay grape can produce

4. Week 4:

Classic Grape Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon. Often called the King of Reds,

we'll be tasting four wines that demonstrate why this grape variety commands

such respect in the wine world

A profile of　simon

 I'm 28 and from the UK. I've been in Shanghai for almost four years and during that time

I have taught English and worked for my family business.

My passion for wine began on holiday in Spain when I was 18.

We were sitting outside in the midday sun in a wonderful local restaurant

when my father ordered a bottle of red.

I fell in love with wine from the first sip

- I just had no idea that a liquid could taste so extraordinary.

 Since then I have worked in the wine trade in both the UK and China and

am going to start my own wine business in Shanghai.

Apart from wine I love traveling, reading and enjoying the good life!
